Giant elephant bulls balancing on their hind legs to reach unattainable branches and bring them crashing down. Painted dog packs roam the floodplain and forest, and lions call in the starry night. At this time of year, the bush is dry and water is scarce, which means wildlife will congregate around water sources. As the Zambezi valley awaits the rains, the bush turns into a magical place where animals kick up dust that captures the light in a surreal manner. At sunrise and sundown, golden, pink, orange light filters through the Albida Forest and Ana trees, and the pulse of African magic will beat through your heart. This safari is for those who love light, wildlife, adventure. It is for those who have an eye for beauty and who enjoy sitting and listening to the world around. Photographers, non-photographers are welcome, sense of adventure and passion for the bush are all that are needed. The safari is designed to be as immersive as possible, spending time wandering around the forests and banks of the Zambezi in search of elephants, wild dogs, lions, and any creature that catches the light. Every day is different in the enchanted forest, or on the floodplain, and we enjoy the comfort of spending quality time in a beautiful location, having the opportunity to sit back and relax whilst enjoying all the Zambezi Valley has to offer.
