Picked up from the airport with drive guide, after collect all your luggage the journey start from Kilimanjaro airport to Arusha for dinner and overnight at Fun Retreat Resort.

Day 1: Arrival/ Kilimanjaro International Airport

After breakfast, you will be picked up from the hotel by the driver/guide and drive to Tarangire National Park. Tarangire is well known for its large elephant herds. From the open roof of the vehicle you will experience the seasonal swamps, savanna and Tarangire River in search of many animals including zebra, wildebeest, buffalo, elephant and giraffe. It’s possible that you will catch a glimpse of a lion stalking its prey or leopards watching and relaxing in the trees above. After a full day in the park, you will drive to Maramboi Luxury tented lodge, where you will be able to relax and enjoy dinner and have an overnight.

Day 2: Maramboi Luxury Tented Lodge/ Tarangire National Park

After an early breakfast, depart towards the most famous National park in the World, the Serengeti. The driving itself, although long, is spectacular. This will be an unforgettable moment for anyone seeing it for the first time. As you progress well into the Serengeti, you will see why the name means, in local language, “endless plains”. The park has 6,900 sq. mile (18,000 sq. km) and for most of it, the plains will stretch to the horizon defying your senses and perception of distances. It is the home of the Great Migration and to 2 million wildebeests, hundreds of thousands of zebras and all kinds of antelopes. As for Big Cats and large predators, it’s the place of choice to look out for lions, cheetahs, leopards, hyenas, with many television scenes like the famous river crossings having been filmed in this park. After the game drive, you will return back to Serengeti Heritage Luxury tented camp for dinner and overnight.

Day 3: Heritage Luxury Tented Camp/ Serengeti National Park

Full day in the Serengeti National Park. We are completely flexible with your preferences and this day will be organized according to your wishes. On every day of the safari, your guide will discuss with you the best timings for you, including the game drives and the wake up time. For example, on this day, you could do a morning game drive, return to the amp/lodge for lunch and relaxation and finish with an afternoon game drive, or you could do a full day game drive with picnic lunch. After the game drive, you will return back to Serengeti Heritage Luxury tented camp for dinner and overnight.

Day 4: Heritage Luxury Tented Camp/ Serengeti National Park

This will be your last day in Serengeti national park whereby you will have breakfast, then after driver guide he will know exactly the best game drive route to explore the last day at the endless plain. Dinner and overnight at into wild Africa.

Day 5: Into Wild Africa/ Serengeti National Park

On this day we suggest a very early wake up in order to do an early morning game drive (when the animals are more active) and see one of the best sunrises you’ll ever witness. After the game drive, we return to the camp/ lodge for a rewarding brunch and then we’ll proceed to Ngorongoro, the 8th wonder of the Natural World. The crater spreads for 102 sq. miles and has 2.000 ft. high walls, making it virtually a Noah’s ark and inhabiting almost every species of wildlife that is indigenous to East Africa. It’s one of the very rare locations in the whole continent where you can witness the black Rhino. The crater has a river, several swamps, and a soda lake with a great concentration of flamingos, a forest and open plains. It’s also famous for its elephants which, are the largest in the world and have huge tusks. Ngorongoro Crater is truly a Wonder of the Natural World. Later in the evening you will drive to Marera Valley Lodge

Day 6: Marera Valley Lodge/ Ngorongoro Crater

Pickup from your hotel/ lodge/ campsite early morning and start a beautiful journey across the Great Rift Valley for a full day game drive. The park has breath-taking scenery and well famous for its lush acacia forest, giant figs and mahogany trees, as well as to a growing population of baboons without forgetting the tree climbing lions and species of bird at large. Having lunch at middle of nowhere (picnic). Then early evening you will start moving to Arusha for drop off. (Depend on your flight schedule)

Day 7: Departure/ Kilimanjaro International Airport

Tanzania Northern Safari Circuit

Upon arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport, you will be met and transferred for overnight accommodation at Graceland Hotel. Your head guide will meet you for your briefing, gear check and arrange for you to hire any equipment you may need.

Departing from Arusha 3 hours’ drive will take you through welcoming mountainside villages to the Kilimanjaro National Park Gate. We will patiently wait for our permits to be issued while watching the hustle and bustle of operations as many crews prepare for the journey ahead enjoy the beautiful rainforest scenery and windy trails while your guide tells you about the local flora and fauna and natural wildlife. At these lower elevations, the trail can be muddy and quite slippery. We highly recommend gaiters and trekking poles here.

Day 2: Londrossi Gate/ Mount Mkubwa Camp

After a good night’s sleep and a hearty breakfast, we emerge from the rain forest and continue on an ascending path, we leave the forest behind now, the trail climbs steadily with wide views to reach the rim of the Shira Plateau. Temperatures begin to drop.

Day 3: Mount Mkubwa Camp/ Shira 1 Camp

We explore the Shira plateau for a full day. It is a gentle walk east toward Kibo’s glaciered peak, across the plateau which leads to Shira 2 camp on moorland meadows by a stream. Then we continue to Moir Hut, a little-used site on the base of Lent Hills. A variety of walks are available on Lent Hills making this an excellent acclimatization opportunity. Shira is one of the highest plateaus on earth.

Day 4: Shira 1 Camp/ Shira 2 Camp

Although you end the day around the same elevation as when you began, this day is very important for acclimatization. From Shira Plateau we continue east up a ridge, passing the junction towards the Kibo peak before we then continue, South East towards the Lava Tower, called the “Shark’s Tooth” (elev. 4650m/15,250ft). Shortly after the tower, we come to a second junction, which leads to the Arrow glacier. We then continue to descend to overnight at Barranco Camp.

Day 5: Shira Hut/ Lava Tower, Barranco Camp

After breakfast, we continue on a steep ridge up to the adventurous Barranco Wall to the Karanga Valley and the junction, which connects, with the Mweka Trail. This is one of the most impressive days to see the power, agility, and strength of your crew zip over this wall with what appears such ease. Overnight at Karanga Camp.

Day 6: Barranco Camp/ Karanga Camp

We continue up toward Barafu Camp, and once reached you have now completed the South Circuit, which offers a variety of breath-taking views of the summit from many different angles. An early dinner and rest as we prepare for summit night. Overnight at Barafu Camp.

Day 7: Karanga Camp / Barafu Camp

Excitement is building as morning comes with an early start between midnight and 2 a.m. This is the most mentally and physically challenging portion of the trek. We continue our way to the summit between the Rebmann and Ratzel glaciers trying to stay warm and focused on the amazing sense of accomplishment that lies ahead. With a switchback motion in a north-westerly direction and ascend through heavy scree towards Stella Point on the crater rim. You will be rewarded with the most magnificent sunrise during your short rest here. Faster hikers may view the sunrise from the summit. From here on your remaining 1 hour ascent to Uhuru Peak, you are likely to encounter snow all the way. Congratulations, one step at a time you have now reached Uhuru Peak the highest point on Mount Kilimanjaro and the entire continent of Africa! After photos, celebrations and maybe a few tears of joy we take a few moments to enjoy this incredible accomplishment. We begin our steep descent down to Mweka Camp, stopping at Barafu for lunch and a very brief rest. We strongly recommend gaiters and trekking poles for uncooperative loose gravel and volcano ash terrain. Well-deserved rest awaits you to enjoy your last evening on the mountain. Overnight Mweka Camp.

Day 8: Barafu Camp / Summit Mweka Camp

On the final day of your unforgettable journey, bid farewell to the majestic heights of Mount Kilimanjaro with a sense of accomplishment and memories to cherish, our team will accompany you to Kilimanjaro International Airport for your departure. Reflect on your incredible adventure as you prepare to return home, carrying with you the incredible experiences of conquering Africas highest peak.
